Renewing your Contract
Your GSA contracts expire after 5 years, if not renewed
GSA holders have an option to renew their contract up to 3 times, for a total length of 20 years.
Several months before a contract expires, it is required to submit revised pricing, commercial sales practices and related certifications if a business is renewing their contract with GSA.
If a contract expires, a new application will be required. It could take up to a year before your new contract is awarded. A renewal is quicker and easier than starting from the beginning. If a GSA Contract is re-awarded, it will have a new contract number and the GSA Holder must re-establish themselves with the federal buyers they have worked with.
